Localsearch has transferred your previous website to the new website builder and will no longer be managed by localsearch. For you, this means that you are now responsible for adjustments up to publication and beyond. If you notice any errors or problems on your new website, please consult the following FAQ <<FAQ Website Content>> and only contact customer support in extreme emergencies.
As announced, your website was migrated to a new, modern design. As part of the free migration, all functionalities and content of your previous website were transferred as well as possible. However, errors and misunderstandings cannot be completely ruled out and the functionalities and components of your new website building kit may differ from the previous ones. We therefore ask you to check your website again using the following checklist. [Link to FAQ Website Checklist]
Ensure completeness and make adjustments
Important: Depending on the menu of your previous website, it may not have been possible to transfer it in full, as these technical components can no longer be used.
The image material from your previous website has been used as far as possible. An exception is licensed image material from the previous website construction kit, as there is no longer a valid licence for this. [FAQ Licensed image material]. As your new website has been created in a new design, it may happen that images no longer fit exactly into the layout. Please adjust the positioning or size of the images yourself according to your wishes.
Please note that you must have the right to use all images on your website. If licensed images from the previous Website Builder have been recognised, they have been replaced by a suitable image from the new Website Builder for you. Unfortunately, image recognition does not work in all cases - e.g. with heavily edited images. It is up to you to check the images on your website and remove them if necessary. For example, if you have independently uploaded an image from Google Image Search on your previous website, there is a high probability that you do not have this right. If you are not sure about an image, it is better to replace it with one from the website builder's image gallery or with a private image.
As a service to you, localsearch has included required pages, such as the legal notice and privacy policy pages, in the design template. Please check this standard content and adapt it to your individual requirements, as you as the website owner are responsible for the content of your website.
If an online shop exists, this has been incorporated into the new design template. As the localsearch online shop is based on the same technical platform, all data is retained. Please test your online shop.
To ensure an easy and smooth migration of your website, our experienced design team will select a design template for you. After the free migration of your website, you can make changes yourself at any time
Previous websites from Swisscom's HomepageTool have been rebuilt in the new technical environment at localsearch in a similar and modern design layout. This ensures that you can still easily edit the website yourself in the website construction kit. You can make adjustments to the design layout as well as functionalities and content yourself at any time. To do this, log in to the Website Builder (you will receive access data by e-mail), make your changes and select the "Publish" button to "Save". Don't worry: the website will not actually be published during the preview phase before the migration date. It will be published by localsearch on the migration date.

No. We will carry out the publication on the communicated date. This is important because, in addition to the website, your web hosting and, if applicable, e-mail hosting must also be migrated to us at the same time. If you publish the website in the Website Builder on your own, it will not work.
If content is missing or contains errors, you can correct these yourself at any time. If there are serious errors, for example if the website cannot be accessed or certain (sub)pages do not work at all, first try to solve them in the Website Builder. If no solution is possible, please contact our customer service.
As the website was created on a different technical platform, functionalities may differ from previous functions. You have the option of customising the menu yourself. However, if the menu or parts of it no longer work after the migration, please contact info.swisscom-offering@localsearch.ch stating your domain and name.
If no orders can be completed, please contact info.swisscom-offering@localsearch.ch immediately. The design of your online shops was also created in the new website construction kit - you can customise it yourself at any time.
Try to open the link from the e-mail you received from us again and check whether it is displayed correctly in the browser. If it is not accessible, contact customer service and report the error message displayed.
You have received the access data including the link to the Website Builder from us by e-mail. Please check your e-mail inbox for the sender "localsearch".
Once all your services have been successfully migrated, you will receive all the information and access data for the platform and the localsearch customer centre.
You can find information about your contract and payment methods in the customer centre. You should have received the access data for this by e-mail.
